North for me - Corralejo

We first went early 90s was going to be a Spanish timeshare island for
Spanish folk but went t1ts up.

Some lovely stuff out there and some horrible
tourist traps.

Corralejo is nice. South is nice too Jandia.

It did seem to be more windy than other islands
out there. Dunno if that's actually the case.

The wind is a nice relief from the heat.....some lovely waves if you like surfing

yhtl - remember going all that time ago too. Distant memory but there was a restaurant with a saddle on a pole outside but just up from that on a corner was a bar but that was the place to eat.

The translation is Windy Island.

We had a place outside caleta de fuste which was somewhat
under development at the time.

2 bars 3 restraunts and a night club

Best thing was the bus to corra...

No work team was the big thing, iirc

Been there 3 times 20 years back. Very windy island with lots of german nudist beaches in south of island!! Before anyone gets excited not a very good sight. can you believe they all wear those horrible double buckle berkenstocks and nowt else. Disgraceful!

They have a nudist beach in Skiathos called Banana Beach.

No idea why, never saw any banana trees when I was there.

Stayed in a few places on fuerta but prefer Jandia personally.

Caleta full of knobs, but, Love Fado rock steak house.

Only one of the 4 Canary-islands I haven't been to
Imo, Gran Canaria 3rd best, then Tenerife, then Lanzarote the best

I do go to Fado, RB. I prefer The Kobe though for a steak, 32 or 40 ounce steaks for about £30. Kobe certainly doesn’t seem as popular post covid. It used to be very busy every night, now it’s quiet whenever we go in.

Never tried that place kenbo, Will give it a try next time.

Happy with a mixed grill at Fado, Unless your getting splattered with hot fat from cooking at the next table.
