They earn a decent crust so you can't feel much by way of their position but having to pick hosses from races they may want to leave well alone isn't optimal from their point of view.

Sir Hugh picks what he wants, when he wants to pick one or three.
The guy is right up there when it comes to sand racing and has a free hand.
Feckin hopeless when he waves his flag at jump racing.
