Social media posters starting to see jail sentences
published at 17:25 Jamie Whitehead Live reporter Long sentences have been handed out today to people who encouraged disorder on social media. Bradley Makin, 21, of Simonside Road, Springwell, Sunderland, who posted videos of himself "roaring encouragement" at rioters in Sunderland on his Instagram account, has been jailed for two years. |

Not too promising for the Labour chap filmed physically advocating for throats to be slashed.
By:
Although I was informed that the police tweeted the video clip of him doing it. No shortage of irony there !

Ex labour councillor remanded in custody, I think.
Rightly so, idiot. |

By:
On a 'peace' march ! A rare window into the far left, let his guard down. Bl00dy adrenalin.
By:
Odd that you criticise him but not the thousands of racist far rage rioters.
By:
A couple of anti-racism marchers engaging physically with other anti-immigration marchers were sentenced to 20 months and 30 months earlier.
By:
Criticised them on this very thread, today. Don't go round spreading misinformation tho, it's getting pretty precarious
![]() I think they are incredibly stupid, |
By:
For being racist, or for showing up farrage?

most of the population are thicker thsan mandingo's c0ck..staggering.

The vast majority of those involved in the violence are thugs who'd take any opportunity for a punch up with the police. Quite likely there are some racists in there too.
'far right racist' is a simple brush for a pretty complex situation, and there were many factors that fed into the disorder. As I posted earlier, anyone getting involved in physical harm or criminal damage is incredibly stupid. Anyone engaging in demonstrable racist activity should be called out on it. |

fwiw I feel like Farage dropped a bollock leaning on unverified reports about the murder suspect in Southport. 99.9% of the time he is very reliable in what he amplifies, so why he went down the route of for example leaning on the unsubstantiated claim the suspect was known to the authorities I don't know (we still don't actually know if he was or wasn't). We can't see it now but on Politics I was urging people to be careful referencing those reports, it smelt fishy to me, and it proved to be so. He should admit to the error in my view, nobody is perfect.

Farrage eternally linked to right wing echo chambers.
Reports out of Russia.... Hey, same old. |
By:
There's a reckless disposition there. Growing up in London I went to many many places that were fighting pubs and clubs, and if you wanted a punch up you could easily find one. Every now and then a completely innocent person bumps into the wrong man, but most times any getting involved in fights wants to beat their chests and prove how hard they are. What we saw in my view was an awful lot of those types show up. It was not coordinated far right groups travelling hundreds of miles like the legacy media and authorities tries to gaslight us with. The actual coordination game from the so called anti racist protests on Wednesday, and the legacy media preparing everyone for something that was never going to happen.
By:
In yer dreams.
But in reality they found plenty who had travelled. All towns, cities have their idiots, who found local footy club, it's been that way for years. The networks already exist, and were also used for good. |
By:
What's the evidence for mass coordination of 'far right' groups causing the rioting?
By:
Social media...
Are you blind. |

Farrage pointing at hotels from his chauffeur driven limo.
Stevie multy-name tweeting from his all inclusive in Cyprus Loser Fox, abigale grapeshot, failed apprentice etc etc |

actual evidence
and I don't use, view or read social media. sometimes I'll look at a link posted elsewhere, such as the Labour chap advocating through slitting. or hear/read about it being discussed. |

Off the top of my head - 52% of British Muslims think homosexuality should be illegal, 67% would not give police a tip off if they thought somebody close to them was involved in a terrorist plot, 27% expressed sympathy with the Charlie Hebdo terrorists...
but don't worry about any of that cos "muh far right" |
By:
tommy ten names, civ nat liberal, its far right dont you know
By:
Yes of course, but, obviously I ain't linking to them.
Loads of sh1te on yootoob, which you can tell by the way the same folk say the same stuff, just like you could tell blokes in the pub which paper they read based on their patter. |
By:
As opposed to the independent of thought liberalists
obviously people with similar world views use similar language, that occurs on all sides. |
By:
not sure two tier kier will catch on with the guardianistas in the same way as cruella did
By:
But you are talking about the social media arranging the farrage riots.
Of course there is discourse between like minding folk, but generally not off pat sh1te off yootube. Trump, farrage, moon landings, 9/11,... Etc |

I do use you tube but not ordinarily current affairs. just mild entertainment, currently I'm viewing a lot of bodycam footage from US cops. car stuff like salvage rebuilds, fail army et al.
By:
oh and obviously finance stuff, eg James Shack
By:
Not sure why when discussing farrage riots you pretend not to have seen the stuff
and produce a string of tangents and whataboutery. Like all the others.... |
By:
lol at the lack of self awareness, 'farrage riots'
way the same folk say the same stuff, not whataboutery, it's demonstrating the hypocrisy. all sides of politics use social media to amplify their views. and they use exaggeration and spiky language to achieve it. but you are in complete denial when it is people and organisations you have sympathy with doing it. |
