This idiot jockey lowering his hands 50 yards from the line has just cost me £250! He'll get a summer holiday, apologise and a slap on the wrist.
I'm so sick to death of this BS! When they start get one year bans then they'll learn. The owners are super rich so unless its a big race they don't care but us punters have to take the brunt!

Alec Voikhansky, the rider of POWER OF TWINS, placed second, beaten by 1 length had failed to ride out to the winning post. After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Voikhansky was suspended for 28 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures on a horse which would have finished first.
tis harsh i conquere but the implications right across the industry are huge..shudnt happen.
If he had won, would he have got 28 days?

Who knows ..maybe a punter had his life savings on it...so someone could have ..least a punter should expect is ride out to the line.. if lengthy ban would ensure they have it in mind to keep riding... you wouldnt understand racing and punting rico as ya need to cheat with racing 5 seconds ahead of decent folk... part of the problem ..
