No, no, no...we support Shoemark 100%. The ride on Inspiral this sunday in France has been given to Moore. How supportive!

if I was Shoemark I'd walk away given the pecking order at Clarehaven. If having 7 retained jockeys in a stable and then jocked-off a regressing and quirky sensitive horse in a big race overseas is a clear indicator the jock's position is not valued or appreciated; James Doyle walked away from a lucrative retained jockey position with Godolphin for merely being 2nd jockey - not 7th plus one.

Doyle took up another offer, to be No1 for Wathnan.
Inspiral's owners can put up who they like, haven't got a retained jockey. |

Typical of the media that they had to wait until he lost the ride on Inspiral before casting any doubt on his ability.

True. Did Henry Cecil operate this 2-tier jockey standing? I cannot recall this ever happened; I remember Cauthen getting a pubic rebuff for arriving late for an important ride because his heli ride did not take off on time due to fog; Cecil remarked...what about the car?

No wonder he lost the ride….
