Shoemark.....predictive text
By:
its now becoming more embarrassing for gosden and the owners than it is for shoemark
By:
how gosden has not got rid of him by now
By:
Acey n Calgiari thinks he is world class jockey
![]() Pair of tools.... Mediocrity at best this jockey. |
By:
Too far out of his ground. Worst draw but made no effort to improve on it.
By:
Taxi for The shoe....
By:
I reckon he could soon be looking for a new job. The horse can be a pig though!
By:
Certainly grade 3 closing on grade 4
By:
Horse has run a shocker, no jockey that has ever lived would have won on it.

Bring back Frankie

By:
lets be fair if you had a group horse and you had a choice of any jock no loyaly to anyone to ride, would shoemark be in your top 30 to 40,once your down to shoemark you might as well give the ride to the next jock you bump in to,good chance they,ll be as good if not better than shoemark
By:
there's a dozen jocks up north riding for burke,Fahey,Ryan etc you,d but up without hesitation in front of shoemark
By:
not at the moment but it didn't impact that outcome.
By:
Wouldn’t let him sit on the fireside chair ffs…
By:
D McMonagle gave a worse ride. Wtf was he doing?
By:
Does this make Gosden a mug or just a poor judge ?
Serious question ![]() |
By:
poor judge
By:
Shoemark can't do right for doing wrong at the moment and his confidence is shot, yesterday there was a race when he went inside and got held up when he should have stayed wide.
Here he just had to get cover, she was keen and he knew it, there was a point in the race when he thought about trying to get her in, he looked to his right and dropped her back trying to get her covered but it didn't happen and he was left high and dry with a horse throwing its race away. He should have dropped her in right from the start, with his confidence the way it is he is being reactive rather than proactive and paying for it. |
By:
Wouldnt make a good shoemaker tbf..requires some brain cells imv..
By:
Duffy correct and him being below average to begin with no help tbf...
By:
yeah he tried to get in but she wasn't that keen. a little coming down from the top of the hill. that was not the losing of the race
By:
Par for the course.
By:
No body would've won on her today.Disappointed on a good few runs now.
The Ireland run was good, might have her own ideas now.Although out the back she didn't really pick up what so ever. |
By:
was well beaten - being forced wide might be an excuse if you just fail to get there but ej was out of gas a furlong out
By:
I'd not blame the jockey. Both Emily Upjohn and Inspiral have developed quirky minds with age.
By:
The horse is a pig from a punters pov. I expect when retired Dettori will be the only jock to have managed to win on her.
By:
Rab won a race on her.
By:
forget today, inspiral there's a seasons worth of horses to choose from, a 1000 posts about it but very few I TOLD YOU SO,S , GOOD AS ANYONE
when Ryan Moore is one of your main rivals and he no,s your low on confidence badly drawen etc , etc ,makes his job all the easier,if he,s doing maj of things right whilst your doing maj of things wrong, only one outcome, Moore might not have won but shoemark was never beating Moore from after 500 yds |
By:
THE SHOE getting a last stride kicking of Moore
![]() |
By:
Westridge as well
By:
with dettori on may have fin 5th..didnt turn up.
By:
He's just very average and always has been
By:
Nobody is saying Emily would have won , Shoemark just didn’t enable her to run to her best today , even if that would have been only fourth.why would you give your biggest rival Opera Singer , a ten length start ?
By:
blunder.
By:
In Hells.....Reet !

Truth be known i don’t think there are many jockeys who ride Goodwood that well…..change from the seventies and eighties tbf….
Kieran the risen didn’t like the course that much….Piggot,Eddery,Carson and the likes never complained much…. |
By:
Piggott was OK of course. Most of the others had their moments. I remember Eddery was normally excellent at Goodwood. He was having a nightmare one year in the 90's on the Wed I think. So bad I decided things must improve and backed all his runners the next day. No winners of course but he hit form the day after. Atm it seems like the current crop of jockeys are much of a muchness, Moore apart.
By:
Agreed...very good of kieran to front up!
By:
I remember the Risen commenting about the course…..
