Sportsbook got Ballyburn 6/4 I got a tenner on it and laid it on exchange I'll take a green on a race I have no real interest in
By:
Lucky you. A 'green' is very important. Just not so long ago I'd get £20, then £10. Now a pitiful £3. This bet restriction should be outlawed.

It's mainly about understanding the punter business mix impossible that will help you come to terms with why you're restricted and the general opinion that it's all depends whether you're a winner or loser is untrue.
Your business mix would be understandably totally unacceptable as you're a combination of cherry picking and criticizing bookmakers at every opportunity. Without restrictions there wouldn't be any super boosts for the loyal customers or flutterers or whatever you wish to label them as they're far more entitled to receive a few sweets now and again and it's totally the correct way to run a successful business by rewarding the wanted customer base whilst remaining inside the business model. There have been plenty of new bookmakers that have joined the concession party over the last few years and boldly ( albeit stupidly ) tarred everyone with the same brush and allowed the entire customer base to benefit , majority have gone bust and taken the customer money with them. I'd wager good money that if you owned a bookmakers giving you a far bigger understanding as to how the business works you'd end up restricting yourself. Good luck today ![]() |

Your analysis is pretty spot on as horsearcing these days are merely a pastime and a competition of knowledge and wits against the bookies. I detest the present bookies enormously; they have destroyed the reputation of old fashioned bookies eg using subterfuge to achieve their goal eg hiding fobt under the horseracing umbrella all the way ie horseracing as the conduit, and disingenuity aplenty.

No price for guessing what the special boost is tomorrow? I hope 'Denise' goes 6/4 Galopin Des Champ to put her competitors to shame.
By:
1/1 for GDS. 'Denise' is the best, the rest not a whisper for the horse.
By:
Skybet and BetVictor both also Evens , don't bother typing how much you can get on again impossible as the post is for anyone interested as well as yourself.
Good luck ![]() |

'Denise' wins again. GDC is beaten by a horse that was not even entered; CH and SM fell; Jonbon beaten; Lulamba stitched up by a 100/1 shot.
Bring on the Flat season. I cannot wait. |

Beans on toast

Fair play to Denise but clearly she wasnt the only one laying GDC for big money.
365 put up Evs mid morning but - despite the arbers - the exchange price was solid. Went out 20 pips when most most of the money was traded after the Albert Bartlett. Well executed kill. But I was thinking one horse year equals at least of ours and GPS was effectively trying to win a third Olympic gold. Time catches up with us all. |
By:
Considering GDC was not on a going-day (could be the quicker ground) he ran very well to finish well infront of the 3rd; the winner is a very good horse on this quicker ground.
How someone knew GDC was not himself today only God knows. But, the trail of the money was spot-on again. |
By:
Did 'Denise' have a rest day today? I was unusually late.
By:
not easy to win 3 gold cups
By:
'Denise' is putting her boot in today. Her football boost involves Arsenal - the perennial underperformer and big time disappointer.
By:
GDC was not a 100% on friday. This was evident in his jumping and running. I'd not back him at Punchestown either; he was turned-over last season.
By:
I've been excluded from every free spin promotion. 'Denise's' is the only one left. Soon, the grey market could be the only option to explore.
By:
England to score in both halves is 6/4 with 'Denise'. Seems generous, is it though? I do not think Albania is a walkover. They drew with Croatia, and kept Spain to a single goal win at home.
By:
The boost lands when imp doesn't fancy it. Becoming a theme.
By:
As i keep saying the only way to play or refuse boosts is to use math's as the criteria consistently , personal opinion as to whether it'll happen or not shouldn't enter the equation.
That's when 98% of punters come unstuck , when they impose a personal opinion. |
By:
Today's racing Superboost
Wyenot, 2nd race Bangor, 5/4 out to 7/4 2.6 odd on here Not one of her better ones |
By:
2nd race kelso 2.56 to lay
By:
Only thing i'd suggest with that one reg is to have a look around 1.30pm when the market has had more time , it could be either 2.1 or 2.8 later who knows , tad early to play or write off at the moment i'd say and around 1.30pm will let the math's make the decision.
By:
Cheers TTT
I looked about 10 minutes prior to posting and was doing it from memory Has traded at a high of 2.68 so I think I got the price right |
By:
Hayden, I understand your mathematical approach but I have to also fancy the horse to win or not to get involved, a personal opinion that you spoke of
If it dropped to 2.1 as you suggest, I still would have to fancy it's chances to back it at 7/4...I understand of course backing 11/10 SP shots blind at 7/4 would probably produce a long term profit |
By:
I've no clue what price it will start reg but know that looking at 1.30pm would give me a better idea than looking now , 365 never change boost prices to my knowledge so the price will still be there at 1.30pm.
If you prefer the personal opinion method then np reg , each to their own mate. Good luck today ![]() |
By:
And to you Hayden
By:
If you don't fancy it you should lay it for the amount you stand to collect from 365 and you will be in profit if it loses
By:
Obviously arbing it is another way to play it mrc but suppose it's down to how much you can get on to make it worth the bother , generally seems to be a tenner although some get £40 i think , you'd have to stick with that method consistently though as letting a personal opinion to let it ride on the odd occasion means you can still lose long term.

The ultimate objective is a no-loss financially and/or achieve a free bet if on a promotion. I'm not really interested in handicap races even at the weekend, period.
By:
A damp squib today . It's Soprano (5/2) - the drifter; 5/2 is just a tiny fraction better than here.
By:
And, another is Eze (0.5+ sot). It's just as pathetic!
By:
Villa is 2/1 with 'Denise' to win, most sot and most corners (2+). What does 2+ mean? To have at least 2 corners more than Preston or minimum 2 corners in the game from Villa. I've not seen this before with betting on corners.
By:
Looked into it impossible.........
The word MOST is definitive so just means more than the opposition. The 2+ you've spotted just refers to how many other selections there are in the bet you're currently selecting apart from the one you're looking at , so nothing to do with a handicap whatsoever. Good luck |
By:
Thanks Hayden. I backed-off because of that. The last I noticed Villa were 6-0 corners up.
By:
Just checked final result , won by 3 goals , 6 shots on target and 9 corners.
By:
Yep, it would have been easy money for any of her takers.
By:
I think Constitution Hill will be 'Denise's' special boost on thursday. She might even go 2/1 (at least 6/4) on the day of the race.
By:
'Denise' is opposing him. CH is boosted to 7/4 (from 10/11) if anyone is interested.
By:
They'll take loads on that, not for me as not convinced it'll win but a generous offer to be fair .
By:
the missus has got a basil on and says to me can you do that thing on Betfair where she cant lose !
