Just gone onto the T0te own siteIt gives a breakdown of the units which I hadn't seen beforeAt the moment, 15 minutes before the first at Ascot, the guaranteed 150k pot is broken down as 80k public money, 70k "T0te own seeded money"At York with an hour to go, 100k guaranteed pot is split 45k/55kI had no idea they were putting in nearly half the money, just thought it was topping upMakes the whole seeding thing worse than I previously thought
never realised that, hmmmmmmm

Ignore that, jamee, I'm learning a lot todayYou maybe correctThe York pot has come down from 55 to 27 as the real money growsSo those seeding figures must have been potentialWasn't clear on the site
There's likely never any Tote money added into the pool until it closes. At this point if they need to bump it up they probably extrapolate the "public" money splits up to the guaranteed value. eg if the "public" money made up exactly £50k on a £100k guaranteed pool they would match everyone's bets exactly.
