Not talking about holding the horse up which is usual, but deciding to switch over to the slow group after being in the right one at the start. Found himself miles behind. Everyone but him knew his girlfriend's horse wasn't the one to be tracking.

Obviously not talking about the usual hold up tactics but deciding to go from tracking the right side to switching over to follow his girlfriend on a showboat. Ended up miles behind with no chance.

Full agree. Jockey error. May still not have won but had no chance with that ride.
