Please call off today's racing

Probably too short notice, but I don't think the racing channels should be on air. This is so extreme and shocking that as a mark of respect surely people could do without their fix for a day?

if it was a bus ,train.taxi driver,pilot etc would you expect transport in the uk to stop for the day ?,

Hardly a like for like comparison. It's a small bubble and everyone in that bubble will know him, and I guess some may know the family.

When Jamie Kyne and Jan Wilson were murdered in that arson attack, racing carried on. This is what black armbands are for.

Very sad news for anyone who knew them but cancelling all racing for a day would be an over reaction to me.
