It was shown on Amazon originally a few years ago. Was good though, I enjoyed it, worth watching.

There is a new documentary starting next Friday on ITV too.

Wrong stable for me. I'd like to see a stable more representative of the sport eg Fanshawe.

I will be watching but on catch up. My favourite stable by a mile. Eve Johnson-Houghton my second choice.

Didn't help that I don't think much of Murphy or Balding. Murphy a law unto himself, and Balding nothing like his dad. As expected this was far more human interest, or at least tried to be, than about racing.

I respect your view of the stable dd but can't really understand it. I suppose that I have known Andrew since his student days. Very easy to talk to, easy going and his training method is quite predictable. Back the maiden 3yos second and third runs and you won't lose any money. The greater concentration on 2yos is more recent but the same tactics seem to apply. The recent expansion will have caused a few headaches as old school owners such as HM the King, Jeff Smith and Kirsten Rausing have been joined or replaced by Juddmonte, Opulence, Cheveley Park, Makhtoums etc.

Or did westberks mean the late Queen who was very supportive of the yard.

I thought that may have been his point TM, but it seems there were still a few like me who missed it first time around.

How many winners today for Balding was it?

Does the late Paul Mellon's family still have nags in the stable? because I notice the Mill Reef colours now run in name of Kingsclere Racing.

Paul Mellon left the colours to Ian Balding and they are now used for the horses bred by Emma Balding and raced as Kingsclere Racing Club.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and really really enjoyed them. At the time I remember being fairly critical of Oisin Murphy and his failed drugs test, getting to hear from him in programmes like this, you can't help but feel that despite being in his mid 20s he comes across as almost childlike in his mannerisms and speech. He describes himself as being very premature as a baby and his development was stunted as a result. He doesn't mind having a laugh at his own expense either, fair play to him.

was at Ffos Las on Wednesday night and on coming back in on the Juddmonte filly who won the maiden, he was having a bit of banter with the few who were waiting on the winner coming into unsaddle. I've started seeing him in a different light to be honest, his ongoing battles with alcohol are also discussed in the programme and fair play to him on a human level for doing so

Andrew and his wife also come across really well in the episodes I've seen so far. It looks a really well put together programme.

More of these types of shows would help people understand what goes on behind the scenes and that can only aid and educate the sports followers.
