filly's record not great but haven't looked in great detail how many have lined up in the last 2 decades ,enable won it in 2019 ,prob playing for places if the fav is on his a game but he is dropping back in trip and unbackable at the price for the normal punter . I am expecting plenty of improvement from the filly for the step up to 10f and she gets the 3 pound allowance but she will need it .her dam was very effective at this trip ,looks the 2nd string of the owners 2 by the betting but there may not be that much between them .

Good write up as usual, Foyles
Looking at the ew and place markets angle... It's Jayarebe for me, but bets will be scaled down if it looks like it's riding on the soft side, which is highly likely... Not sure this horse will handle it |
By:
Well you have had an effect on the market as everyone was 40/1 earlier but now only Bet3P. 33/1 and even 25/1 in places. Good luck.
By:
thanks reg yeah the ground has changed since yesterday ,pished down overnight in south London and similar at sandown according to a few posters ,ground wont harm Aiden's and josephs .
By:
A thumping win for City Of Troy, assuming his heart rate is normal. The softening ground is no issue to him.
By:
it would be handy if someone who lived in sandown stuck a fork in their lawn to give an idea on the going today
By:
Jayarebe will be a non runner.

By:
I shall have a small interest on Dancing Gemini who did not have the best of luck at Epsom and will appreciate the ground.
By:
Meehan just ruined the race for the places, what a surprise.
By:
Ashleigh, I think you are probably correct
By:
I live 7 miles away and a fork would break if I tried to push it in my rock hard lawn! But of course I haven't been constantly watering to achieve "good" ground, if I had the fork would now go all the way in!
By:
In fact definite non runner as is stay ahead
Down to 6 runners |
By:
Makes no difference as Morrison has pulled out his no-hoper as well.
What a shyte race for the Eclipse. |
By:
At this rate with the non runners you might want to have a token £1 each way on Hans Anderson at 200/1
Just in case they need to pull Troy up and the pacemaker breaks clear of the rest and they don’t have the quality to peg him back. |
By:
Unfortunately Jayarebe pulled out so down to seven runners. Betfair Sports offering CoT evens for a tenner. Hopefully Bet365 might super boost it later as well. I wouldn't back it at at 1/4, but evens looks a steal to me given soft in the ground description at Sandown. Quite like the looks of Tiffany in Yorkshire Oaks at 5/2.
By:
3 places on here still trusty but yeah not ideal
By:
Thanks 'Storm Alert'. I've risked £10 at 'even's for a couple of chickens.
By:
Al Riffa looks a good e/w as has run Ace Impact to half a length
By:
yes the ground has gone to al riffaas liking and I've had a pop win and place on here . good luck tangle
By:
Be good to see city of Troy again but could win it easily or not, dancing Gemini came from last in the derby and quickened up well so will be closer today, pity not 8 runners
By:
A watching brief….
By:
As soon as i ducked under 8 runners put a line through the race very quickly
By:
sports book evs city of Troy ........you can have 50p .....wow what an offer ! shove it up your arshe paddy ,you must need it more than me!
By:
Foyles as u noted Al Riffa might go well on the going and COT might need a firm surface to show his best
By:
gonna be hard to beat tangle pacemaker and softer ground will make sure its a stamina test hard to see any negatives with him tbf.
By:
C.o.T by what distance ?
By:
I think Pebbles was the first filly to win the Eclipse, with the NR's I will just watch it bur good lick Foyles.

By:
The bot is at work again. I tried to 'lay' 2+ lengths, and the price moved against me when I was about to click.
By:
The lads are in attendance today. Everyone of them. Do they travel separately?
By:
The price has contracted to 1.66 from 1.8 for the above.
