maybe you can get too comfortable with these type of lays ,i certainly wouldna give this one a chance of winning ,put it this way i wouldna backed it  if i had looked at the race ,i didnt even see the thread till today but complacancy can  creep in as the winning lays mount up ,sometimes looks too easy and free money comes to mind .bad luck rico ...

Thought you may have had the Mullins 2nd string in the first yesterday Foyles at 47.8 , as per previous discussions.

I had a pretty good innings doing this from the outset of BF and then much more seriously from about 2002 - 2006.

If you follow very strict rules (which you must), it would be pretty rare to be playing every day. Rico's approach is much more cavalier (imo) so makes for a much more interesting thread (imo).

The bottom line (as with every bet!) is price - way back in the day, it was a lot easier to lay long-shots comfortably below eventual BFSP, because there was more than 2 quid about in the early markets!

Following really strict rules (as I did), never really gives you a big enough sample to know if you are good or if you are lucky - but persistently and significantly beating BFSP gives you a good indication. Obviously, it also gives you the opportunity to eliminate some of the variance.

If you can do that (in these markets now) fair play to you! The days of laying to decent scale (a couple of hundred in the morning) at odds of 55 on something you thought could well go off at 200+, are long, long, gone! To get 200 matched these days, you're mostly/often gonna be forced to play late at something quite close to BFSP, so there's not a lot of milage left in it (imo).

Always an enjoyable read though (imo). Apart from yesterday obviously!

Cavalier approach but enjoyable read ffs….

Apart from doing almost 9 large….

Win fifteen large, lose 9 large, rinse and repeat.

It's a business model that works imo. Certainly works better than anything you have ever tried.

Has your her ection subsided yet?

He admitted to losing 150 large at one time…..

Where do you think the 150 came from in the first place?

It's all just prices at the end of the day.

Cavalier approach - law of averages……each to their own….long climb back up….

Six tenners and a fiver doesn’t look much in hard cash in the wallet…

£8,700 in hard cash on the counting table is a lot of dough…..problem with online punting it’s just numbers…..respect goes out the window
