6 days on 600 calories is tough. I put on a lot of weight after I retired and blood pressure went up so went on the 5:2 diet (2 days @ 600 calories and 5 days normal) and lost 17lb in 7 or 8 months. If I put on more than 7lb , I go back on 5:2 until I return to my target range (usually just means losing 2-3lb). Lucklily that's only happened twice a I dislike it intensely but that ensures I don't get carried away on food particularly.

Well done but it sounds to me that starting at 15st 12lbs, 600 calories a day sounds a tad extreme.

Well Done ,starting last week I have been trying to lose £14, I will weigh myself once a week and if I don't lose a £1 a week or more I will go tighter the next week.
