I'm on a firestick so am 30 seconds behind but about 2 minutes from the start it went 4.1 out to 5.2 in about 10 seconds. As far as i know it didn't sweat up. Someone must have layed it massively for a drift like that in such a short space of time in a race with huge liquidity. It briefly came back in to 4.7 before the race started.
There was a thread a few weeks ago concerning how many short priced Charlie Appleby horses were getting beat. This season I have just been ignoring them, probably the bookies over shortening his less stellar horses. Have to say that was a strange ride considering how it was ridden at Lingfield race before.
Diamond Rain did not like the ground, according to Appleby.
She was never going on that ground. A filly with a strong constitution.
