Notable Speech from from 2.2 to 2.8. Strong support for Rosallion. I'm a big fan of Rosallion, but concerned by the draw, and Henry Longfellow who I've backed 6.6 win and 1.9 to place. Beautifully bred and think the ground course and prep market him as big value.

Notable Speech is a weakling, not a toughie like Rosallion or Haatem. Well done backers of Rosallion.

Very very good horse. Henry had the race run to suit and nearly nabbed it but as soon as Rosallion got out in time it was curtains. Best Hannon has ever trained. Very smart indeed.

Will these ever beat City of Troy over 8f? Henry Longfellow ran very well, but no match for Rosallion. A softer surface in the Sussex Stakes Henry Longfellow could have a chance to turn the form round. Similarly, Notable Speech.

Rosallion is 5/4 fav for the Sussex Stakes (31st July) with Charyn and Henry Longfellow on 6/1; Notable Speech is 7/1. I think 5/4 is super short, and the weather could have a say too.

One bad race (remember City Of Troy?), and 7/1 could be the value for the sussex Stakes, if he's sound.
