I enjoy reading your analysis of a race Foyles and good luck but I am really keen on Notable Speech.....to me he has had a fantastic education on the AW and has learnt to settle and show a blistering turn of pace where it matters. I think he is the real deal and am on at 6/4 and expect him to win more convincingly than he did in the guineas.

good luck with notable speech dbtb i put him up for the gns on the ante post forum along with a nonner and another unplaced ,yes he deffo sets the standard here and will be hard to beat but i prefer bigger prices and this one like notable speech in the gns is in the could be anything bracket and did it really well at sandown obviously he has a good bit to find but its not out of the question . i will probably look for another at decnt prices as back up tommorow no suprise if the front of the market dominate but anything can happen.

I can easily see this being a repeat of the Guineas but it is a round mile which may or may not make a difference. I am also on Almaqam as he is not yet exposed but has the potential to be a factor in this at a huge price. My only negative is the price itself which has not shortened at all in the last 2 weeks so connections don't fancy it.

good luck guys notable speech is the obvious one but he has been on the go since january it may not affect him but its a slight neg in my eyes ive had my twopennorth out of him so he dont owe me nothing and if he wins so be it but unless any come out there are 3 places on offer and this could get messy and luck in running could play a part here .

Rosallion will be much fitter against him this time round.

perhaps henry long has had some magic carrots
, but notable was cantering in gns and im certain trainer will have him spot on, loved this race in the 80s 90s, bairn, shavian, second set, sendawar, to agori, horage , bahri, funny i can recall these horses but i wouldnt be able to name any winner in the last 10 years, and was it this race that Frankel nearly blunted his record . |

ive not ruled out the french just yet both improving and metropolitan turned the form around with ramadan in the french gns after being behind that rival on seasonal debut lightly raced and a group 1 already in the book he looks interesting and has won on good ground ,darlinghurst has also been on the go since the begining of the year but is 4 from 4 this season and bt the french derby 2nd first look pretty comfortably last time our gns form looks strong but i am not underestimating the french form .

I think Sir Alex won this with The Rock a great training performance. MJ Kinane announced his arrival in this race long long ago winning it for one Liam Browne.
I do hope you will be collecting elsjohn. Your mighty confident. |

Henry Long an e/w bet to nowt. Lovely prep, hands and heels in France on horrible ground when Aiden's were below par. 9/2 is luvvly. Good luck all

I’m really keen on Rosaillon. The draw is bit of a concern as could be locked on the inside but I’ve always thought he would excel on the round course at Ascot. Thought Sean had little choice going on 2 out in 2000 as horse was going so well. This wasn’t ideal and perhaps NS fitness and being able to challenge later aided his performance. 9/2 yesterday was far too big and I’ve backed ew - hopefully bet to nothing if he gets blocked in.
Off to Ascot most of the week and buzzing for today’s great days racing. Sneaky feeling for Berkshire Rocco in 5.15 ![]() Good luck everyone having a go today. |

might be way off here but when ns won the gns look at the divots some of the others were knocking up compared to ns where he was did he have a strip of slightly better ground ? was a good winner anyway but have had a few advantages in the gns ,

good luck hib

Very good point Al, just watched again, no bet race for me, just a joy to watch top class race
|
|

stood for metropolitan french gns winner and we have very little idea how the french and british form compares, he is after all a french gns winner and 40/1 is a bit of an insult , i can take the insults on the chin and he is progressive lightly raced and a winner on good ground stuck on well in the gns and just looks too big a price to me.
SELECTIONS ALAMQAM AND METROPLITAN 25/1 AND 40 /1 EW BOG GOOD LUCK ALL. |

Quick question…did someone put up Alsakib in the last?
Price has just kept on crashing. Had high hopes this would drift out with moves for other horses. |

think it was put up on one of those youtube vids

Okay cool..well he’s the one I wanted to be on today.
Made giant strides last season…can’t think of many that debut over 7f on the Polytrack then a few months later are winning class2s over 12f for fun. Main objective last year was the Qatar Derby which the owner really wanted but that didn’t work out. Returned this year in a couple of stakes races that I think has him spot on for this class drop back into handicap company. First of those was in the John Porter where he looked like he blew up before staying on for midfield finish behind Hamish who nearly caused an upset in a G1 next time out. And then lto he had no chance vs Point Lonsdale at Chester…Ryan is soon good when he gets the fractions right so he wasn’t going to get beat but Alsakib kept on very powerfully to get 3rd on the line. I think these two runs will have cherry ripe for today and he’s coming in here with an excellent 12f on Good to Firm at the course to his name. That was a great run weaving in and out from well back and looking like an extra 2 furlongs would be perfectly fine. And then next time out at Newmarket he did that thing I always like ie galloped on powerfully like he’s brave inca or giants causeway. Really like him but was hoping for a much better price…i will decide later…I suppose I can do a token bet to get the ball rolling this week lol |

Notable Speech from from 2.2 to 2.8. Strong support for Rosallion.
I'm a big fan of Rosallion, but concerned by the draw, and Henry Longfellow who I've backed 6.6 win and 1.9 to place. Beautifully bred and think the ground course and prep market him as big value. |

Problem solved…40/1 ew double with Charyn lol

It seems like Henry Longfellow has been overlooked. Strongly fancied for the French Guineas but was given a terrible ride by Ryan. Would have seen more daylight down a coal mine. Stuck behind horses and nowhere to go all the way up the straight. Did remarkably well to finish as close as it did and was full of running. Expect a much better run today.

It`s good to get a mixture of opinions. Good fred as usual Foyles.

Notable Speech from from 2.2 to 2.8. Strong support for Rosallion.
Seems strange to me as I thought Notable Speech beat him easily when they met. Different horses for different courses I suppose. |
|
By:
ROSSALLION evens to finish in 1st 3 seems to be a bit of free money,
to good to be true ? seems better value than backing the fav |
|
By:
I have backed Notable Speech...sure to be beat now the run im on.. Billy beat me in a photo.earlier and 4 seconds.. Think Buick will go too early and Henry nails on line...

|
By:
At least it eight runners is on the round course. Group race big fields on the straight never easy to predict...

Rosallion has everything in his favour eg ground and fitness except the draw. But, he does need a clear passage on the inside rail, if that was inclined.
