Hayden I've had a bad week on IPL but this Jos knock has got me smiling again

Not sure how you've had a bad week mate the graphs have been generally spikey especially the Punjab cameo.

Was that Punjab KKR game
where a ridiculously low score was defended, made a right dogs dinner of that one.![]() |

That's the one

Gleaming! with this awesome platform that has been set by Mitch Marsh and Aiden Markram. No place for Francois Du Plessis or Jake Fraser-McGurk in the meritocratic Indian premier league. |
|
By:
Aiden Markram top notch and will be No1 rated at some time , once he adds a bit more shot improvisation to his T20 game he'll go for fortunes in the IPL auction.

Talk about SQUANDERING a platform.
Could be a dodgy surface |

Sunrisers Hyderabad detractors
Gleaming! |
|
By:
As has been the case since the tournament started the Sunriser's price is all about Travis Head which confirms what we know in that backing T20 cricket matches before a ball is bowled is guesswork at its finest.
Mumbai go off at 1.7 Head out 1st over for a duck Mumbai immediately plummet to 1.3. Less than a handful of players can influence a market to that extent when you're less than 3 minutes into the match. |

Yes agree Cardy , if you're going to go run a ball for 20+ deliveries you need to stay in and make 60 or 70 with good acceleration otherwise it's time lost , different if the team is leaking wickets but not the case at the time here.
Kohli does similar many times but being Kohli he normally then stays long enough to take the scoring rate to a different level. |
|
By:
Almost an identical comparison here Cardy with Kohli going a run a ball , difference being he's seeing wickets fall at the other end and he's chasing a score of 8 an over whereas DUP was batting first with no target.
|

By:
Krunal Pandya has delivered a Major Thrust here, yes I'm gonna say his detractors are reeling!

I've barely looked at PSL, utter stupidity running it concurrent with IPL
|
|
By:
Agree with timing but i follow them all tbh and ignore the other sports if time's an issue.
Great graphs can appear in all these competitions , £6 million matched on this current PSL at the moment with still a third of the match to go. |

![]() When Rajasthan Royals announced they had signed a 13-year-old for the Indian Premier League, there was plenty of scepticism. It looked, at best, like the start of a long-term plan to lay claim to and develop a promising youngster. At worst, it looked like a gimmick. No-one is sceptical now. In his third match the now-14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has smashed the second fastest century in the IPL's 18 seasons, a blistering 35-ball display of pyrotechnics that carried his team to a thumping eight-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in Jaipur. Only "Universe Boss" Chris Gayle has hit a quicker IPL ton than his fellow left-hander, and "Baby Boss" Suryavanshi would have been close to that 30-ball display had he not played himself in with nine off his first seven balls — albeit that included a straight six off 140kph Indian Test seamer Ishant Sharma. Thereafter he hit 92 off 28 balls, including ten more sixes and seven fours. |
|
By:
Would enjoy seeing Sam Curran knock off a ton here, in any case he has cemented his place in side rest of the way with tonights effort
Rachin Ravindra and Devin Conway have had their chances. |
|
By:
Jos Buttler at it again today.

|
By:
He's looking great at the moment Cardy.
Sunrisers suffering with auction decisions for me , imbalance in the team and they've placed far too much emphasis on expecting Travis Head to post huge scores and get the bowlers out of trouble , that'll happen occasionally but not realistic to expect it consistently. |
|
By:
..and he's a sub today which looks like Klaasen will have to move up the order and play a big cameo to get near this total.
