Contrasting tracks last night but both levelers when not a quick surface , Guyana was tricky and all about which side adapts quickest and bats smart which Afghan's did superbly posting that score whilst the other track in Canada was slow coming onto the bat which needs patience and proper cricket shots.
Traders cash cow up to now this World Cup ![]() |

Saffers 1.01 to 1.74

Brutal…so basically no score is safe in New York.

By:
Not on that track it seems , Guyana also a difficult track and Dallas is slow coming onto the bat , may not see many 200+ scores this world cup apart from maybe Bridgetown with no rain.

the yank bowler last night in the super over was a 100% ounce of baccy.
Hardly. He played for India in the U-19 World Cup, when they got beaten by Pakistan. |

Australia 1.26 to 2.44 , relentless stuff

indian / pakistani = both ounce of baccys imo.

What’s that thing they say about wounded animals or will India smell blood and go for the kill.
I think India to cruise this won on the bridle. |

Anything goes in this one ELG and i find it impossible pre-match , the usual low trade for me with a green to follow.
Biggest sporting rivalry on the planet. Expect Babar to have a good one. Huge game at 6pm , Scotland not only need the win but also have one eye on the net run rate as runner up seems likely to be settled that way. |
|
By:
Another reminder if anyone needed one to swerve pre-game Cricket especially in this format , on and off for weather , tricky New York wicket so toss important and Pakistan include 4 seamers due to ball moving in the air and off the seam with conditions.
Anyone's match and in-play as ever the only sensible option. |

India went 1.33 to 1.8 but not a big enough swing for my numbers so not involved yet

That'll do nicely India 1.2 to 2.6 following a mini collapse

There we go again for a 2nd delivery , Pakistan 1.09 to 2.0

India win a thriller with £112 million matched.
Scotland about to win with a great net run rate which makes it a real battle for 2nd qualifying spot behind Australia. England need to win big margins vs Oman & Namibia Scotland need to win big vs Namibia then keep defeat as close as they can vs Australia Then it'll go to the wire unless already qualified Australia choose to knock England out by losing to Scotland ![]() ![]() |

Taking to his Instagram story, Drake confirmed that he had put down a £510,000 bet on India to beat Pakistan in their T20 World Cup Group A clash. Luckily, he picked right as India secured victory by six runs.
The result saw Drake take home a total prize of £715,000 and £204,000 in pure profit. The bet is just the latest in a long line of stakes that the rapper has put down. He recently lost out on £800,000 having backed Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh last month. The Ukrainian was named undisputed heavyweight champion of the world after an eye-catching performance against Fury. His mixed success when it comes to the bookies doesn’t end there. He bagged an eye-watering £3m payday after backing Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann to win in London in 2022. However, he then lost £190,000 as he bet on Jose Aldo later that year against Merab Dvalishvili. Drake’s betting habits have also earned him a bit of grief. |

And bang again...

2.74 at 23/4 off 4.3
How can you possibly price this stuff accurately |
|
By:
Yes yhtl out a bit early greening but scared of Klaasen and Miller to go yet and also it's the New York track which nobody knows what's a decent score to post as yet as it's been tricky to say the least.
Profit is profit though ![]() |
|
By:
You can't price it accurately with any level of confidence that's why you strategize low lays on a scaling system , in-play is the only method with the added insurance that the liquidity is the best ever.
|
|
By:
Oh a profit is great work, and good on yer.
Not that much of a risk laying team batting first on that track sub 1.4,imo. Of course you can lose, but... |
|
By:
I never go higher than 1.29 myself with a 80/20 or 70/30 risk scale to keep some back for the very low stuff if it arrives whichever team it applies to , i'd get a nosebleed laying 1.3 or higher in any sport tbh.
|
|
By:
Hayden, do you trade out for a loss if the odds keep dropping, or do you keep laying down to 1.01 and take the hit if the long odds-on wins ?
|
|
By:
Never trade for a red tiger , work out max liability on match and then hold some % back for the sub 1.1 prices , the re-jig new price to green up for profit on the way back if given the opportunity.
|
|
By:
So if you dont get the opportunity to go green, you'll take the full hit. How often do you take the full hit, in say 20 matches, ball park figure.
|
|
By:
Tough question but maybe 5 or 6 in T20 but less in the 50 over as there's more time scope , in the 14-15 though there'll be some absolute cameos , like in this tournament i've laid 3 at 1.01 that i've not given back until at least 1.5 which means for every grand stake to lose a tenner your green is well over 300 so effectively you've had a winner over 30/1 , i've a list of teams i double the liability as they're consistent gems.
Been doing it since 2007 and stick with the old adage if it's not broken then don't fix it , use very similar strategy for my own tennis list of named players , i play the numbers largely but tweak with some knowledge like today getting out a tad early because i was scared of Klaasen and Miller posting a score on a tricky wicket , sometimes you need bigger balls than other times but that's when the sports knowledge comes in and also being able to price up the next odds after a wicket or a six depending on the match status. Good luck mate ![]() |
|
By:
113/6 could be a decent score based on yesterday.
Saffers 2.48. |
|
By:
Cheers Hayden, thanks for your time. One final question if I may ? Youre already green on the current SA v Bangladesh game, will you be going in again if Bangladesh go sub 1.3, or indeed if SA hit sub 1.3 again.
|
|
By:
Time will tell but it may not be far off a par score on that wicket , Pakistan couldn't get 120 here yesterday albeit against Bumrah & co , no heroics needed just play orthodox cricket shots , it's a run a ball required which is fine but it may get up to 8+ along the way which then becomes tougher.
|
|
By:
Yes i'd imagine so if pretty low , you frequently get more than one delivery if seeing the match through , the other nights match produced 3 good trades.
Sometimes home distractions play a part ( the wife ) and you may miss one occasionally but the goal is never to care about the final outcome in the match itself and if looking to go to the wire keep one eye on the no tie lay as it's frequently available to lay at 1.08 ish in the final over , otherwise you've lost all green which is frustrating , the USA game the other night saw £90 million matched and then voided but there was 1.08 available to lay with 3 balls to go which was too good to let go , many play the safe cover as there's always over a million matched when it looks close in the tie market. |
|
By:
Thanks and good luck for the rest of the tournament

By:
This is a tough chase and in the balance , 50-4 at halfway
Pakistan were 57-1 here yesterday and still couldn't chase 120. Markets been flip flopping like crazy in this innings but only 25-30 ticks so too high for me to play again. |
|
By:
Banga hit 1.15, now 1.4
|
|
By:
There's another cherry on top , 1.18 to 1.8 for a 2nd delivery
Tense stuff indeed |
|
By:
Keeping one eye on the tie as disaster to lose all this green with 2 good trades , see how it looks next over
|
|
By:
Great game and outcome

I laid Banga 1.24 but got out at 1.48.
If most games have been good trades so far, Id be expecting a run of taking the full hit now. |
