It's people like me, semi retired, self employed or retired who would make up much of that group I'm looking into doing a month there, a month back here and repeat Although I understand that the Spanish and French governments want to revoke the 90 day rule because of how it's affecting their economy?

These manufactured weather experiments are looking quite promising. They can already make it baltic here in June and make it flood in the Dubai desert. Science to the rescue once again. Just needs a bit of fine tuning, but I don't think I'm being premature in claiming climate catastrophy averted. No need to make cows extinct after all to save the planet.

The trend for these high temperatures has also been increasing, with nine of the ten hottest days on record in the UK falling from 1990, three of these since 2019.
And they show a graph, with only one hot day before 1990 and 9 since. The scale spans the last 120 years.
But I suspect that all these very hot days are showing up because they are looking very hard to find them: If someone now reports a new record temperature in their back garden, (instead of simply dismissing it as unofficial) they now send round a team to tick a few boxes and verify it just in time for the BBC News at 6 o clock.
I would be more impressed if they also showed the coldest nights on the same webpage and showed that they were getting less frequent. But my guess is that with all the extra weather stations we will have more of these "coldest nights" too.

As an outdoor worker who's been going out of the house at 0530-0600 for 35 years, we get alot less frosts than we used to, and certainly alot less snow days. Only 1 day of snow last winter.

no doubt there's manipulation of the weather itself & weather station data, locations etc its all political bs because "green" is a big cash cow & also a control mechanism
a wet, cool spring/early summer doesn't fit the narrative so they are telling me its record nighttime temperatures now I've heard it all
