Hi all,

Does anyone know how this 7.5% probability claculation works which creates the new beacons:

'We measure the percentage probability difference between this anchor price and the current live price; if there is a move of at least 7.5%, it triggers a Beacon to display next to the horse.'

so for a horse at decimal 9.0 (10% win probability) would the triggers be at 5.71 (17.5% win prob) or 40.0 (2.5% win probability) or something different?

I would be surprise if it was anything more than simply: anchor price 10, triggers 9 and 11, anchor price 5 triggers 4.6 and 5.4. It is meaningless anyway imo.

Anchor price usually taken from scraps at silly prices the night before/early morning while ignoring 33s into 14s late on. Meaningless nonsense.

as bettinghelp said - the "anchor" price would have been set when it was 4-1 early on.
