Bet Joseph O`Brien`s horse Espressova @ 1.7 for a place (1-2-3-4-5)
Took Muttley for a walk and bet settled as a winner.
Hour later, balance unexpectedly drops. Checked my account to find try and find where money gone. Eventually discover that Espressova bet above now listed as a loser with minimal loss. Puzzled, I check result on RP website and find that Espressova actually dead-heated for 5th.
Fair enough, mistakes can happen but they just delete the mistake and enter new settlement without any notification to the customer. As if iy just never happened. Not right that. Should be listed in my account as "Vet adjustment" or "bet ammendment" or an explanation by email. Is as if it never even happened.

Odd. I've usually seen reversing entries and new settlement entries in my account statement when that happens.
