All todays problems can be traced back to the two Scots Blair and Brown, and of course it was deliberate. Unfortunately, Cameron and Theresa May were both absolute disasters as PM,s and had no intention whatsoever of righting the wrongs of Blair/Browns devastating Labour policies, Brown even sold all our Gold reserves and sqaundered the lot. If anything Theresa May made matters considerably worse with her woke liberal progressive nonsense. May was just a liar of biblical proportions, she done everything she could to keep us in the EU while stating get brexit done at every opportunity, she had a vendatta against the police as she claimed stop and search was racist, she shut hundreds of police stations and cut police numbers, being the daughter of a vicar we probably shouldnt have expected anything else. The British public, or should I say the English public, gave Boris a huge mandate to get Brexit done, leave the ECHR, and massively reduce immigration, he had three jobs to do and he failed miserably on all of them, he even wanted to give 3 million illegal immigrants amnesty and a free ride. I could write a book on the damage Blair/Brwon done to this once great nation, and the Conservatives have quite frankly been pitiful, Sunak is as big a traitor as Theresa May, Blair and Brown. The UK is in terminal decline, there is no coming back from the current situation, Blairs open door mass immigration policies have destroyed our nation, we are finished and its only going to get worse back under a Labour government. Rant Over.

Ribero, cheers mate, it saddens me deeply to say it, but the future looks hideous on all levels and nothing can change that such is the damage caused since Thatcher was forced out of office, Blair should be behind bars to be honest.

No wonder Blair changed the Treason laws, he knew exactly what he was doing.

The best thing that could happen is no-one voting. We would be much better off if there were no

Government!

Gordon Brown selling gold at the price he did was a bad move but *totally irrelevant* to the state of this nation today.  Both parties have sold Britains gold off.

He had to do it now, the Rwanda magic planes, not sure he could do it as promised, inflation biggest lie of all its coming down lol, interest rates could go up again in the long term, they could drop a fraction short term, he had to go now while he had any chance,

Blair fkd the immigration that this country will never recover from his open door policy let us to where we are now, so if labour get in the immigration is going to get far worse, but there is no magic wand whoever gets in is fkd, the only chance we had was truss and they didn’t want that economic growth, fracking to bring fuel prices down , new ideas , oh well it’s not looking good but we do need a change so rishi has to go

personally i think he's trying to judge when the nations mood will be at its best, he's gone for a gamble on sunny weather, holidays season and england still being in the euros and hoping that gives them a bit of a distraction, obv it'll probably be pishing down, no one can afford a break and england will fall in the group stage leaving him shafted

If the end is inevitable I think it's always best to get it over and done with; no point prolonging the inevitable. This is akin to someone with a debilitating terminal illness.

However, even if I do not vote Conservative I'd vote tactically to frustrate Labour winning, why? I do not want to see UK Plc degenerating into a divided nation like some countries in the Middle East and Africa where a certain group rules the North and another South in the same country.

It's happening in the UK Plc at present, and I believe this will be expedited if Labour wins with a majority as the Islamists and extremists will hold sway the future direction of Labour and UK Plc.

Problem seems to me that we don't produce that many great statesman and you certainly don't get one every generation. Boris turned out to be a fraud and Corbyn a poor man's Boris (3 wives, a few kids and poor choice of mistress) who was lukewarm towards the EC and gets away very lightly for his part in Brexit. David Milliband may possibly have been better material but the unions undermined him and we've ended up with Kier, who is basically a high ranking civil servant and as boring as you'd expect. Personally going to vote for the cabbage party even though I know it's a waste.

When: 23 May 24 16:15
Agree with much of what you say there Boston.  There's no doubt that Corbyn was a disaster regarding Brexit although he was always hostile to the EU and as a result of the party policy kept his mouth shut instead of supporting his party.

No overall @ 25/1 looks a palp error.

2/1 nearer correct price?
By:
second again
When: 23 May 24 16:57
I don't know the correct price for NOC but I would lay 2/1.

So, this election are we voting for our country to remain British and not run by immigrants with a political agenda to turn UK Plc into an extension of countries of their origin, and illegals? I trust the Conservatives with the Economy and Law and Order.

The NHS is overpopulated with users that money cannot resolve successfully on its own; its culture and practice need to change. I believe a 2-tier NHS is inevitable and necessary.

Law and order must be that, and not "expanded" to social eg police officers and mental services.

I don't know the correct price for NOC but I would lay 2/1.

You mean NOM?

I am referrering to the election prices on that board what even one it was, are you?

You would lay a price bigger than the conservative price of 7/4 when NOM should be nearer evens.

Strange statement, you don't know but you woukd lay, without knowing the exact year it's slightly difficult but that much. No wizard of prices but 2/1 would looks massive
By:
breadnbutter

No, the prices on the black board, top2 pic, lol, this is difficult.
By:
breadnbutter
When: 23 May 24 17:45
All the prices are mince on that pic, but if labour were 4/11 for an overall majority  next shortest price should be no overall and should be odds on too lol and conservatives should be 25/1.

Anyway, imaterial.

I trust the Conservatives with the Economy and Law and Order

"I trust the Conservatives"

Four words I honestly thought would never be seen together in a sentence. What about the handing out of government contracts do they still get trusted with that too?

Honestly, if they told me what day it was, I'd still go and check. They're all as bad as each other but I just think the level of lying in public office and repeatedly showing untrustworthy behaviour as seen by this Conservative government will definitely take some beating.

If people are inept, indecisive, ineffective or ultimately budgets don't add up to begin with you can say it'll happen and try to fix it. I can't accept those in power actually being driven by their own greed, that of their associates and it being proven repeatedly that a growing number are corrupt and rotten to the core.

If you vote them back in, nothing will change. That should send a shiver down every person in this country.

I'll not be voting Conservatives and neither will I be voting Labour for the reasons I've stated earlier. I'll vote tactically to deny Labour a working majority, if I can.

My country before anything else including Economy and Law and Order.
By:
breadnbutter
When: 23 May 24 18:53
Sparrow it's an overall majority not control, that's a diff thing, it's a Working Majority although that is not ideal either, a Hung parliment is prob better, Labour could win most seats but the Conservatives with the Help of others could form the gov, likewise you could have a Labour  minority gov.

But eye no what u meen.

Voting tactically is difficult under first past post, you would have to consider not voting at all.
By:
sparrow
When: 23 May 24 19:10
Well yes hung parliament is the same thing. I remember in 1974 there was one after a very close vote.

I might vote Reform if a vote for The Conservatives is a wasted vote eg The Tories coming in a distant 2nd; Reform could leapfrog them into 2nd. This is a protest vote against Sir Starmer and his impotence against Islamists and extremists in his Party. It's also a vote against his loyalty to the ethnic groups where the scums who abused vulnerable young white females up North originated from.
By:
