Unless there was a switcheroo in the stable horses or the ground on the nearside a major disadvantage the winner clearly won on merit; Charyn was a good yardstick, I believe. As for Inspiral she's an expensive horse to follow, and a difficult horse to win with; the run of Big Rock was too bad to be true.
