drawn wide..switched to nearside..ridden from 3f out stayed on late ran ok..nowt to see and nothing rong with ride.

Watch the ride, from the sharp left hand down manoeuvre shortly after the start, losing lengths, to a virtually impossible position........sat well out back until inside the last furlong and finished best of all for 7th place

Was never winning this, but I do agree with the OP. He made his mind up where he wanted to race and it cost him ground. Hate seeing sharp switches like that.

went right and bumped rival start, raced in far side group and keen, switched left to join main group 6f out, held up in rear, headway inside final furlong, switched right and stayed on towards finish, never going pace to reach leaders

didnt seem too interested there TBH
