Didn't try to put him in the race. Ambled around the outside giving away lengths and lengths and pulled him up after no effort at all from the jockey.

i bet for 4 places and watched thinking the same as you - Olly Murphy innit - will win a decent race when you least expect it .... smarter than us .... by miles

he had the obligatory looking down to see if something was wrong in spite of the fact that he was going better than 5 or 6 horses around him .... good points Ramruna, but that's all working on the assumption that form means anything. I'd be confident it will leave that race well behind and will still win at the class and the distance. Time will tell.

Yes I know it was in a C2 and his two impressive wins have been in C4's at Kelso. His flat form suggested good ground would have suited. I just can't fathom why he was ridden so differently last night. Same bet four places (@ 9/2), whichI thought looked pretty safe with only two runners worrying me...
