Having got through the Grand National coverage unscathed, what will the ITV chiefs be saying to ITV racing?
Is this what we want to serve up to our main channel afternoon audience - a horse winning the feature race and breaking a leg, another at York providing the sickening spectacle of running with a broken leg, followed an hour later by a horrendous pile-up (luckily non-fatal). I can see  racing moving full-time to ITV4 after this disastrous week.

was thinking this myself, also its not a good advert for racing when ITV  says they broadcast for the casual viewer who then will be thinking what a cruel sport this is.

Ironically coming just days after a Bafta win.
