1702 Salis. Warmonger. 100/1, 200/1 and 300/1 twice as 2 year old at 7/8 furlongs

Now  1st Hcp 3/2.  at 12 furlongs. Other horses in here that I would like to play on form but this thing will

probably dot up and the friendly handicapper will put it up 6lbs so it can dot up at least twice more.

The stews will ask the trainer for an explanation of the 'apparent' improvement in form and the trainer will say

it improved immensely over the winter or simply he has no idea and as he's not a betting man is very surprised by the

low price. The explanation 'will be noted'. Farce!

Not so fast,is being prepared for mixed age handicap

The correlation between 2yo form and 3yo form this season is alarmingly low or just the inevitable consequence of horses maturing at different rates depending on your point of view. Economics will get a 20lb plus rise from yesterday but because the Dante was not a handicap nobody will accuse William Haggas of cheating.
