If he says it doesn`t look fit and will need the race, they seldom win.
Conversely, if he says a horse looks fit and should run well, they seldom win.
So, what's the point of him?

If Billy Radio are going to use him, why don't they equip him with an outside broadcast link? Just having him compete with poor mobile reception capacity at busy tracks does not make for good radio.

He was resplendent in his new winter puffer jacket and bennie hat at ascot yesterday. Hi nobbing with all the top trainers.

He is not a tipster. His job is to say whether the horse is fit or not. When he says they are not fit and will badly need the race, he has put me off many shorties in the past and they haven`t win. Best paddock judge about. Been on WH radio for years. Keep up the good work KP.

Excellent paddock judge but agree with the The Spinmaster about the WHill radio transmission, gets a bit 'Alan Partridge' trying to connect to him on his mobile. Op can't even spell his name so that tells you all you need to know there...Cool
