I was there yesterday very sparse .....just how I like it .....

Went last year, stupid dress codes for Tatts and cashless only was enough to put me off this year

Be Interesting to see the final year figures for 2024 Overall Attendance numbers . Places like Cheltenham have become too expensive to attend and stay in and all this cashless etc would turn off a share of middle aged and older race goers .

Too expensive, stay away from race courses. Spend your money on something else that doesnt want to fleece you.

Head in the sand BHA/JC will just blame cost of living crisis and think things are going to pull round they cant see people are finally waking up and 'thinking i am being ripped off here fck em i aint no fool'.

Chester Cup Day tatts £43, Countyconcourse £68.

York Dante tatts £25, Count Stand £40 

and every single aspect of going racing far better at York. only one place i will be going.

York has got it right. Also the infield enclosure is good value for money

and they allow people to bring picnics and their own drinks.

If you are in Tatts or the County Stand can you get high enough to see the horses running all the way round, or do the infield structures get in the way ? If so you might as well watch for free from the street above .

At York on the inside you need the big screen if you want to see much though.
