AOB is just a car salesman when it comes to talking about his horses.
It is all about the value of the horse, still cant get over that horse that was thrashed at sussex by frankel and they promptly retired it and pretended it was injured. Dirt american stallion is rarely going to do it on british random turf. |

Tbf it's not AOB's fault. Anyone who ever thought that horse was going to be a superstar clearly don't have a clue about horses. He is quite simply a poor looking thoroughbred that was never going to train on into anything special. He is narrow, shallow girthed and small and always has been. Some were betting him at 3/1 last July for today's guineas. The media and other industry commentators are never ever going to say anything negative about a Coolmore horse as they are all on the gravy train. The winner looks very decent as do the 2nd and 3rd. On teh whole I think it was an above average Guineas, we shall see.

Jay trump could be spot on , Certainly the only horse that could be taken from the Race
The LADS horse looked like a Kings stand type , TODAY LISTEN if we knew that was going to happen we would not have Run Him I Suggest Greatest Trainer knew the horse wasn't 100 % and sent it out for a blow anyway What difference Either Way ? |

Auguste Rodent Sums the Barn up
Unfathomable to any Horse racing Punter ,Perhaps we have another Rodent |

I think it's prudence in the future not to back his charges without a prep race here or in Ireland for the 2000G. The record is below average.
But, yesterday was the worst ever ie one "supposedly" silver bullet and it bombed superlatively. |

Air Force Blue was something similar in 2016, the yard has previous form in the 2000 Guineas

A quite majestic piece of after-timing. Way up there with the best ever seen on here. - Hope that's not directed at me Loyal. I have been posting exactly the same since last July to the very letter. Tbf anyone who had seen him and knew anything about horses would have had the same opinion. Most racegoers at Newmarket knew this and when he turned up yesterday he was no different to last year. Air Force Blue was different, he was a good looking horse and you would have expected him to train on to some extent. He was bitterly disappointing.

Indeed. What baffles me yesterday was how'd City Of Troy run so badly? Apart from the "stall" incident (he was only in the stall for under 20 secs) everything else was normal eg experience at Newmarket; excellent form as a juvenile.
My main concern is the horse's size (maybe had not developed further), and very possibly had not trained on too. If so, I'd be livid if connections ran the horse nevertheless; Auguste Rodin had excuses eg bad traveller; awful ground; ran into his stablemate in the race. I hope something amiss shows up over the next few days. But, no excuse yesterday visibly; I do not buy the "stall" incident either. |

What's amiss is that its becoming clearer that willie uses more potent parsnips than aidan. More so over the last couple of seasons.

If what we saw was the actual ability of the horse and he hasn’t trained on it shows how ruthlessly the trainerfollows the party line. He will actually be the opposite of the gently spoken, image of the humble family man despite the riches it has brought him. He would be effectively an insider trader of deception to the public.
