I never said anything bad about Marco? All I said was I bet it for a place and found it unbelievable it wasn`t placed due to no luck in running.
I didn`t for one minute say it was deliberate. These things happen - that`s racing.
btw I had £1 on for a place. A tick bet.

Did I say I bet it? I wouldn't bet one at such a short price but I still think it was a filthy ride. What's a muppet like yourself going to do about it?

Whippin, given you the benefit of much doubt previously but explain why you are different to all the other LOSERS who's life is this Forum to slag people who provide your small minds with entertainment but risk their lives to do so?

I couldn't care less if you've given me the benefit of the doubt on anything. I don't need permission from anyone to have an opinion on a race. And I'll say it again, that ride was pure filth.

Perhaps you and whippin should get a room and discuss then Hulk?
Seems this place is all about big mouths and egos and slander of the people and animals that provide your entertainment ?

Slowly into stride, held up in last pair on inside, going well when not clear run from over 1f out, kept on when in the clear but tenderly handled, not recover
it would be hard to argue the "tenderly handled" bit ^^^ didn't cost it a place. it was less than a length off 3rd at the line.

Calling people losers and idiots and adding guff about it being a dangerous sport. i know it is. But this still doesn't excuse filthy rides. A well known jockey recently retired and everyone thinks he's a swell guy. This still doesn't excuse him from schooling one in public a few days earlier.

if you backed it to place, as someone above did, you're entitled to expect a bit more than "nudged along and ran on inside final 110yds"
nudged along ?? there's only half a furlong to go Marco ....

Case rested morons, out of bounds to use your OWN eyes or know what he was thinking?
Low level punters with nothing better to do than try and big themselves up on here, FACT!!!
Hulk and Whippin, any time and any racecourse as extended to the Sociopaths, meet up and meet real people and real racing?

he was unlucky in-running. but when it opened up he was too slow to ask for any kind of effort. i think he was maybe thinking about calling it a day and letting it coast home, then realised he had plenty left and decided to ride some kind of finish on it.

Had time to go left and make some sort of effort. Did nothing, stopped riding and then just hands and heels stuff. Filth!
Btw, I will defend rides if I feel a jockey was unlucky or riding a tricky horse or a hound that has an allergy to winning.

It is tragic that Stefano could not be a part of a debate on here, he had abuse as all jockeys do and never thought a price would be paid that in reality only boiled down to some invisible people his passion and life was so important to.
That is the thought that disgusts me on this platform!!! HTH

A Bet like that for a place and one ends up losing is enough to make one chuck it.
It makes one think that the world is conspiring against you
Run that race again 1000 times and 999 times out of 1000 that gets placed.
And that`s how NO ONE can win betting horses. Mugs game.

I`d rather lose my money than see a brave horse or an even braver jockey get hurt.
Betting is a triviality in comparison. Most important thing is that no one or no horse got injured.
Everybody on here would agree to that.

you could apply that to every race and there would be no debate.
Dancing Brave was unlucky not to win the Derby
Cag - shut up, the jockeys are putting their lives on the line and all you can worry about is your horse not winning. How much did you have on ?? Lets meet at a racecourse and we'll sort it out !!!

Sassari was Stefano's final resting place and despite what the RP reported not the only region his family have horses, ignorant and lazy morons.
Explain your big mouth hulk i.e all I worry about is my horse not winning?

you're being ridiculous. we're all fully aware how dangerous the game is. are you saying anyone in the racing industry, on here or elsewhere, who criticises what they see as a poor ride is being disrespectful towards a deceased jockeys family ??

Far from it Hulk, all I am saying is what you accused me of i.e only caring about my bets?
Not so and if you can find evidence otherwise feel free to bring it up. Bring up evidence of Marco ever pulling a horse?
I have no issues with anybody highlighting such but you are just a big mouth, low level nothing and Marco could snap you in half with his toes.
Meet up?

It looked like they didn't go much of a pace and the horse has pulled Marco's arms out on the way round, and because of the apparent steady-ish pace, many in with chances up the straight and the gaps aren't appearing. He sits chilly but that's fair enough because he was looking for the gap rather than risk darting to the inside, but obviously the gap never appeared in time and it's unlucky for anyone who backed Liosa, but in conclusion imo, no criticism of the jockey, just very unfortunate with how that panned out.

if you look at the other fred you'll see i was on Jack of Clubs in this race.
so it wasn't anything to do with bets. People are entitled to come on here and debate what they have seen without fear of you accusing them of disrespecting Stefano's wife. Where the fk did that even come from ? What's it got to do with someone thinking they should've got 3rd if he'd ridden a finish sooner ??

Bring up evidence i ever accused him. In fact your inference is verging on libellous.
So i may or may not choose to sue you.

No doubt Chamber Pot and his cronies will manage to swerve the issue or find a one legged, lgbt, muslim riding a lame donkey in Northern Cyprus who wishes to become NI Catholic and ride in the Munster Derby by the time she has found her/his sexuality by the age of 6?
Wasn't this about a bendy ride? Hard to tell really.

how the fk did he accept it ?? he accepted it for a bit, too big a bit.
he then decided he wasn't accepting it and was finishing like a missile 3/4 length behind the 3rd.

agreed. but the time it took between him accepting it, and then riding it out was the difference between it getting 3rd and getting 4th.
and both the racing post and sporting life seem to be questioning your assumption that he "rode it out" in their race comments ...

A few of you need to watch the replay again and look at the right side of the screen or the jockeys left. There was a gap available that you could fit a double decker bus through. So there was somewhere to go and he chose not to go there. But the Trainer was happy with the ride so you can't really blame, Marco.

They came out with some guff about the horse wanting to hanging right so that's why he didn't want to go left. That's funny, the horse ran as straight as a bullet on its previous run when Callum Shepard gave it proper ride! Also beaten at 5/4 when it was given no cover at Brighton last season.

ddb isnt 4ft wide..he would have had to have eased it back and switched left which would have also stopped its momentum..easy in hindsight.
