I think there are plenty on here (I am not one of them) who withdraw and re-deposit frequently (some claim daily) who will be glad of this?
Do it net makes a kind of sense, though it is then not very different from a loss limit?

Nothing wrong at all; I don't do it as I just about break even after commission so I leave it all here to play with.
I don't get those who say they withdraw down to zero every evening and redeposit every morning, but a few seem to do that and this will help them not to get inadvertently caught.

Old rules - Bet £30, win say £70, withdraw £50 of that and lose the rest you've made a profit and can't deposit for the rest of the week till it resets
New rules - Bet £30, win say £70, withdraw £50 of that and lose the rest then deposit and chae and chase until you can't anymore, you've the lost all the profit you made and your original £30 and put on a load more bets than previously possible

CWNB - but in your example the loss is still £30, equal to the amount originally selected by the player as their maximum weekly loss. If someone doesnt want to make / take a profit, then they are fully entitled to play recreationally.

The number of people on here who won't see this as a positive (and completely logical) step, I imagine, will be absolutely tiny.

It's hard to believe that they were ever so stupid as to go with deposit limits rather than loss limits in the first place.
A reflection of what a panic stricken, chaotic, disorganised, shambles of a bodge job all of the on-line "bookmakers" have made in this area.

But people should help themselves, I am not my brothers keeper.
Remember the GC want(Ed?) a 7 day rule where any winnings beyond that point were dismissed. But losses remained indelible.

Would you want any shares with any gambling organisation at the mo? only one way this is going less money in and they must all be taking massive hits be interesting to see the figures less profit has to be less dosh because nobody is getting on role that out on - line and shops and on course and FOBTS has to happen in next twelve months and even more regulation and there is a huge problem. If you can't get on do something else.
