I wouldn't want a horse with Hendo.
I'd buy a horse to watch it run |
By:
Impossible, you only want him to shut up shop because you have backed his horses, not for the good of racing.
By:
Something very seriously wrong. Obviously.

JONBON GONE
FIRST STREET GONE |
By:
Must be doubtful Sir Gino and Shishkin are declared for Friday?
By:
they look fine in the paddock ,they look fine going down and lining up ,theb y are fine in running for the 1st 1/4 of the race . after that it goes pear shaped ,would you back a horse of his here after the way his have run so far ?
By:
I mean its sport and these things happen. Just they seem to happen to Henderson alot more than others
By:
dont no what you were watching but the novice, 3rd fav in ch hurd and 2 in mares never went a yard and were all 1st beaten before pulling up
By:
Is there something in the cotton wool he uses?
By:
Frankly it now facks up a lot of the markets for the next few days. Wish he would just shut down, get rid of the bug and declare all his horses non-runners as place is his only chance, if he is lucky.
By:
Yep he really has no choice but to shut up shop. Horses are clearly unwell.
By:
Yet Jingko Blue is still in the opener? I'm not sure of Hendo's stable setup, does he have well separated areas and will know which areas/horses will have been likely affected, what sort of criteria is he using for running / not running if no symptoms are obvious?
By:
What a man told you he keeps us all updated a very sensible decision.
By:
Exactly. You either take them all out or you let them all run. No in between here.
By:
dodithegreat still in coral though first street out,

They ALL need a sick note.
By:
Olly Harris move a lot of his horses from smaller trainers to Chemical, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. NR in the bumper
By:
Andriy, it's a few years since I visited the yard, but it is very large. They have a big open-air quadrangle and at least a couple of separate large barns.
By:
Think he will have rung round the owners and suggested they don't run but some might have said let them take their chance; just my opinion.
By:
as said the horses look fine untill they are put in a race ,luccia ran very well and by all accounts they have all scoped clear at home but on the racecourse they dont fire , the problem is unlike humans they cant tell you if the feel well or not so the dilema is should he risk running some of them ? or shut up shop completely .
By:
he has 5 in the pertemps in which i fancy white chino who needs some to come out to get in as a reserve, whens the cut off time for reserves to get in ?,sickner for connections of reserves if hendo waits for tommorrow to pull them out
By:
maybe its just me but Hendersons horses run like this throughout the season
bit like Johnstons on the flat you are second guessing a lot of the time either winning easily or tail off with little inbetween though the betting tells you plenty like the first race yesterday |
By:
Would imagine Chantry House & Mill Green will come out not sure about the other owners, but whether he will pull them today or tomorrow?
By:
Yes North-East it is typical Hendo form except this time they are running particularly bad imo. Also he has winners in the mix and this time there are none.
By:
yep no doubt some are clearly not right but some are doing ok
disappointing all the same not to see the likes of Jonbon, CH and most likely Shiskin |
By:
Just checking BHA decs all declared bar Shishkin @ 9:40 got till 10.
By:
Shishkin another goner along with Champ.
By:
shiskin/champ out
By:
Shishkin out.
By:
Shiskin and Champ non runners.

How about Sir Gino ?
By:
Anyone brave enough to back Doddie today?
By:
yep at a price but currently priced as it would have been ,lets see if it drifts
By:
Must have two different yard set ups {think most top trainers do} maybe Luccia was in the one affected and the others still running are in the same.
By:
In fairness not sure why Luccia was 33/1 plus and Iberico Lord 11/1.
Last race Luccia finished 7 Lengths in front of it giving it 2lb. So a 9lb swing in her favour as well. Prev race to that Luccia finished 7 Lengths behind it giving him 10lb, got 7lb off him in the champ hurdle. So 17lb for 7 lengths Issue is he wraps so many up in cotton wool for Chelt, then they get a bug. Constitution hill has raced once this season. I mean come on, its a racehorse not a show pony, could have mopped up a fair few wins and prize money not coming off the snaff. In 3 years he has ran 8 times. When you consider he doesn't have hard races and they are at just 2 miles it just isn't enough. |
By:
i certainly wont be backing any of em but i am the worst or unluckiest layer known to humanity and i layed sir geno at 2.16 only for a token £30 when i heard he worked with cons hill a while back with my record of laying he will be the one winner hendo gets and will pish up on the bridle so dont despair sir geno backers !
By:
Henderson will have at least 2 stables and it's fair to say he's made a pigs ear of this years festival and CH this season.
If he couldn't run CH because of poor blood test, is he saying the rest are all ok or has he just run them and they then ran terrible. Think he has had his head in the sand or not been very truthful for a goo few weeks about the state of the yard |
By:
What was all that earlier in the week then following the gino drift on here all is good think was what he said no worries bit perplexed about that now wasn't that in the RP?
