Thanks for the link, an interesting read about his life and career, and I wasn't expecting the final few sad words about how close to his death that Graham had written it, but as he said to end the piece, he could die a happy man.
From the article, he joined the BBC in 1990, so presumably that piece in the opening post was filmed not long after.
