Hold-up horse (usually) in a race with at least three potential pacesetters, but tonight was the night to change tactics?

The winner Hieronymous was ridden forward too, but that is his usual run style, and the eventual second had been at the back.

It was a London Series qualifier, so if they qualify for the final, interesting to see what tactics will be used then.

Had a text conversation with Fremantle about this. He points out that the final's not until Sept., and 3yos would be eligible by then. His conclusion: "There's a similar 0-85 here on 13/3. Would have to back it if it turned up again."

I'm only passing on his thoughts. Personally I'm not sure which is the more baffling: AW racing or the Easterbys.
