Slow to object, most of the crowd will have left. It'll be chaotic.

Ouch. Could be expensive for some.

By:
could be light and not the lads fault but equally not uncommon for kids to get distracted with connections and interviews and forget what they need to do

The lesser of two evils for the jockey. Thanks.
By:
Jock has a winner on his 8th ride and weighs in light.
Back to school |
By:
did they say weight or is it his kit not being the same as weighed out?
By:
More likely the trainer to blame rather than the jockey, maybe missed something off when saddling.
By:
yes poss, but have seen it where they remove say the body protector so it's not the saddle
By:
Racing UK far king useless. Keep saying problem with clerk of scales, not even clarifying if it was a weight issue.
Saying if you backed odds on winner you were very lucky?! Not if the fptp weighed in 10lbs light he wasn't. |

37G Bet Victor INH Flat Race
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the fact that Mr Finn Tegetmeier, rider of Colcannon, placed first, trained by N. Meade, weighed in 1.3lbs light following this race. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. Mr. Tegetmeier stated that following weighing out he walked the track and went to the toilet. Mr. Meade stated that everything he received from the rider went on the horse and he couldn't account for the missing weight. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards disqualified Colcannon from first place in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231 (i) and took no further action. |
