Bloody Awful! Record audience figures for years and loved by many thousands if not millions. If you have nothing decent to say then why don't you just say nothing. Sounds as if you're a miserable old man before your time.

R.I.P Steve- BBC 2 Steve Wright In the Afternoon was one of the greatest radio comedy programmes that I've heard. I rate it with The Goons/Hancock and Round The Horne etc. I've had to stop the car several times on Fridays when Barry From Watford-The Old Woman-and Ask Elvis were featured. I got to the stage when I would wait behind on site as it was not safe to drive home.A good guy and a great broadcaster.

R.I.P. Steve. As it seems so sudden and he signed off saying back next week, makes you think a heart attack maybe. Read that he had his own dental kit as didn't like dental visits. If it was the same with doctors then you wonder if he had health checks what with having put on weight.
