sad he is dead but the man was bloody awful, like an overgrown kid and he absolutely ruined totp2 with his idiotic mutterings
|
|

Bloody Awful! Record audience figures for years and loved by many thousands if not millions. If you have nothing decent to say then why don't you just say nothing. Sounds as if you're a miserable old man before your time.

It would have been hard to ruin totp's of any number, they were all so dire anyway.
R.I.P. Steve. Top D.J., Presenter and human being. Already sadly missed - best wishes to his family. |

he went to the same school as my two lads..albeit 35 years earlier. My wife says I am immature and don't take life too seriously..I think its years of listening to Sir Steve Wright !

R.I.P Steve- BBC 2 Steve Wright In the Afternoon was one of the greatest radio comedy programmes that I've heard. I rate it with The Goons/Hancock and Round The Horne etc. I've had to stop the car several times on Fridays when Barry From Watford-The Old Woman-and Ask Elvis were featured. I got to the stage when I would wait behind on site as it was not safe to drive home.A good guy and a great broadcaster.

Poor chap! He worked all his life, yet to even enjoy his "retirement", and now he's gone. RIP Mr Wright!

R.I.P. Steve.
As it seems so sudden and he signed off saying back next week, makes you think a heart attack maybe. Read that he had his own dental kit as didn't like dental visits. If it was the same with doctors then you wonder if he had health checks what with having put on weight. |

elisjohn- Didn't catch Men from the Ministry but will give it a try.

I don’t want to upset anyone but why did he model his look on Steven Segal?
He looks like his twin. Just wondering if he was a big fan or something. |
