Atr speeded up

Only one I recorded was 16:37 @ Wolves. Looked normal to me. GPS (TPD via 3rd party) and drone were level, BFL about 1.7 secs behind GPS.

as i thought jamee...

Remember the infamous day at Brighton when the forum learnt the truth ie race started and a couple furlongs in it reversed 2x speed right back to the start, stopped and then sped all the way back to the point it went haywire and continued as normal.

been timing races for 20yrs..now we have unhappyhibby and jamee the IT consultant casting aspersions..

ewe cudnt mek it up.

i asked another person if they noticed a speed up...

they said the same as i did Mr.Hunt.

last time i checked the atr blv was 2.3 behind the drone..today was 1.4 ish..whether ewe bleeve it ornott frankly my dear i cudnt give a fck.

as always you have tried to make out it is not as far behind as some folk would believe...

even when you were at the track you used to do exactly the same.

If the market has got tighter in the last few furlongs then my fav theory is the people putting the money up have got a bit quicker at cancelling. They have a whole second head start before any latency variance.

The average punter like me presumably has some delay on their GPS as it comes through a 3rd party. It's possible there could be faster GPS options out there for those with direct commercial agreements, but these were available several years before TPD started selling it to the masses.

But for me GPS is always exactly the same as drone.

Perhaps for picking up fallers and certain close finishes, but for most in-running trading the drone angle with 0.6secs delay would pish all over it.

Plenty were telling you it was 2 seconds for the last 12 months but you were adamant it was 1.5 seconds everywhere
Its been 2 seconds for about a year
