Indeed and in his case stupidity. Strange how wealth often makes people act like misers. Haven't seen the show yet but always got the impression his engaging personality made him popular with his peers.

as someone said on the programme when you have fame and fortune at such an early age it's something you get used to and you want more of it...

even when your career ends...
