Assuming it's done manually from a video feed, it just depends on who's on 'suspend duty' and how fast their stream is I suppose.

is your pc time synced to gps official time jamee? Yeah it's all very accurate, albeit within the bounds of when all the info hits my PC. Obvs BFL latency can vary by a few tenth either way. The GPS refreshes every 200ms plus a latency of between 100-300ms. The suspension info refreshes every 20ms. Presumably you can see a similar delay between them hitting the line on BFL and the market suspension? |

skills? in that case you must have won £2000 1st race at catterick fri. Funnily enough I did exactly the same in that race. Clicked too early on the leader who got caught on the line, but then got it back in the photo. |

Nothing like your level in the Catterick race, though Rico. I need to develop bigger photo balls now I'm getting my eye in.

but,the beginning of the mirror isnt the line. I've never been sure where the line sits on the mirror. I assume somewhere between the beginning and middle, when the angle is plumb? Where do you think the line sits in the mirror? |
|
By:
the line is the end of the mirror when the image reflection stops.

the line is the end of the mirror when the image reflection stops. Do you know this for a fact? I have been informed by separate reliable sources in US racing that over there the photo finish is calibrated to the middle of the mirror. It is possible that UK tracks may operate differently, although I see no reason why they would? I use combination of GPS, drone and BFL. That last photo at Punch the BFL image was best for the photo. Got on at 2.52! ![]() |
