Hermes Allen

Didn't look good, not sure if he's getting up after that.

Disgusting sight if you are a animal lover

Yes, soft fall but landed wrong, hope we are mistaken.

It looked horrible, it never fails to shock us.

Went over on its neck. Sad sight.
Remember him as a top class novice hurdler.
Decent winner of the Challow at Newbury

Fingers crossed it was just winded, yeah was a soft fall but did land right over his neck and then didn't seem to move

fatal injury.

Absolutely terrible news.

Fooking sick

Game is hard to justify at times.

seem to have a lot of fatalities lately, 2 at Southwell yesterday.

It was unnecessary too…the race was over but Cobden kept throwing him at the fences to try and correct his misjudgement.

Totally agree, he's a 3 miler, a stayer, and he ends up being rushed at his fences going faster than he wants to be going to try and make up all that ground.

frost did her best to bury another one for the owners at muss, throwing it a fence to keep in the  race after she,d gone for home far to early  out wide before the home bend

Can see itv getting worried about jump racing.

Not a good look on Sat afternoon where the audience they are after is not the hardened racefan.

Nick Luck pretending it wasn’t dead. Obvious it broke its neck on impact. Only the bookies would miss Boring British racing if it ended.

Ridiculous to try and blame the jockey for that.

It was quite a soft fall, and incredibly unfortunate.

with carnage in earlier race, horses running free wrong way across  track not a great day

Youve gotta think that if the animal rights nutters get there act together and target ITV for broadcasting jump racing instead of tracks then that would cause some sort of problem for there advertisers etc.

Really sorry for him and all connected. Seeing the winner out in its paddock dafting about this morning on Nick Luck is the highs and lows right there
