Russia is as weak as a kitten in comparison to NATO, they have no troops or weapons to compare and the longer they are engaged in Ukraine the more depleted their forces will be which suits the West but there will be no need for a scenario you predict unless China got involved within Russia. Despite what most thought during the Cold War the Soviet Union were more afraid of the Chinese than the West and for some reason do not seem to realise China could be achieving what they feared by stealth rather than force.
