Good old Hughesy

Come on Henry!

Unlucky Hughesy - you gave the horse every chance, he tired.

Normality resumed LH, plenty of profit in running though .

Normality? Is that the same normality that saw the greatest NH jockey of my lifetime, AP McCoy, ride 10,000 losers?

Amazing how many times a McCain/Hughes runner stops to nothing, still never learn in time to lay them though! Hughes is as weak as a kitten though still.

Slowed down going into the last and then 4 Hail Marys with the reins and that was that.

He didn;t slow down, the horse did. As I said, the horse tired.Must be a huge plank that.

Hughesy and AP would be some finish over the last in a driving finish .

Let's put this way then, he didn't drive it into the last and keep any revs it had going

Vast % would depend on what horse they had underneath them.

The horse was losing its revs., and, like the experienced champion jockey that he is, he realised that if he didn;t nurse it over the last it had no chance whatsoever. You really do need to start race-reading as opposed to sniping.
