A few old favs of mine running today.

4.15 Newcastle.
  Alexander James, still remember this horse blitzing home on debut at Southwell by a whopping 13 lengths, later on that season was trained in France and won a couple of decent races , one a listed race. Went back and forth from France to various English trainers before ending up with Mick Appleby, ran well on soft ground and AW from marks in mid 80s winning twice, here and Wolver. Still running well at Southwell in C2 and C4 races from around 87, won a seller at Beverley when rated 78 and runs from 70 today in a C5, Herrington reapplies the tongue tie today, 1st time since he won the seller, would be very disappointed if didn't go well today, backed EW 1st 3 at 7/1.
4.25 Wolverhampton.
  Put Kenstone up lto over todays C/D when 3rd to Romanovich, he got squeezed out at 1st turn and stumbled slightly and winner ran well since 2nd from 2lb higher. Has a 7lb pull with Pyrric Dancer for nearly 4 lengths previously, and was only just btn off 51 over C/D in November, largely consistant here and trainer Adrian Wintle in form 2-9 last F/N. Hope he gets a better run today and have gone EW 1st 4 at 11/1, have another bet on Broughtons Flare who was running on strongly just behind Kenstone after not getting a clear run.
