Good thread lads..

Fancy two today

Dundalk 6-00 Dromantine

4yr old who kept on well winning comfortably over CD off 69 in 2yr old days for tonight's jockey, decent run when third again over CD last month and now wears first-time blinkers with that outside draw that I like at Dundalk..

Dundalk 7-00 Mauras Gift

CD success in November 2022 off higher, two narrow misses of late and raised 1lb for both, Donagh O'Connor replaces usual apprentice

NIKKI'S GIRL (3.25) did not get the best of ride/luck last run. Last winning rider back up, claims 5.

Fair shout at 12/1.

ATHOLLBLAIR BOY (7.15) Got going a bit last time. Will do for the ew double at 10/1.

Good luck.

Well done WP

Newcastle 4-45 Novak

The 5yr old grey returns to the distance where he was only pipped by a neck just before Christmas for today's jockey in this grade, the well backed in-form favourite has to prove capable in this better grade..

I was very sweet on that one Billy Cool Got a much better price than SP but nowhere near that tasty 5/1 a few of the bookies were offering. Some people on here don't think you need bookmaker accounts.....

Good luck to you and Barstool with those value priced plays

One for tomorrow. The grandly named Winter Oaks at 3.10 Lingfield is just a fillies handicap and none are rated 90. That said, Andrew Balding has kept Eleanor Cross in training for Cheveley Park. Still a maiden but only raced 4 times so I will risk £1 each way.

The most competitive race on the card. GL Sage. I think I have one but I'll have to play closer to race time.

Tropez Power -2.00 Lingfield

This horse travelled really well on his comeback at Newcastle after a 6 month break. Although he did meet some trouble in running this has been exaggerated in the reports. The jockey never got too busy with him after the slight interference and this looked like a classic comeback run where he wasn't expected to win. His last performance at Lingfield, in Feb 23, when 2nd, was in a fast time and better than any horse in this race has achieved over CD in the last 18 months on my figures. Available at 10.5 for the win and 2.36 to be in the 4, and with a draw in 4 that should be ideal, he looks primed for a big run under regular jockey Jason Hart. In what admittedly is a pretty competitive race, Starshiba also looks overpriced based on his course speed figures and might also be worth a small bet. Good luck today everyone. Cool

Arctician 12.15 looks to have a decent ew shout at 12/1 with a decent draw to work from under David Probert, who has ridden a few of todays field in recent times. Ought to know the time of day with it at least.

Like your analysis cob - v competitive race that one, so my pick is LAY: Dragon Icon. On it's comeback this is a big ask IMO.

GL Barstool, found this race  a bit tricky for a bet but got Dayman and Thapa Vc just best with Arctician 3rd in Cool

Oh So Grand is the jolly & although the top weight granted a clear run should win the Oaks race.
Should confirm the form with the Gosden rnr even though 4LB wrong from their last meeting, when
1st & 2ND (C&D).Made up a good bit of ground,going away from the field at the finish.Reproduces
that run will take some beating again in this. Not an original choice but do think she'll win.
2/1 on here atm.

I'll kick off today with a lay. 12.52 Ling. Cervetto been well backed, not convinced the combo of 7f and Polytrack will be his cup of tea. Horses that finished either side of him at Dundalk either stayers or moderate ratings. Leicester and Wolver runs not too exciting either imo. Currently 2.42. Good luck guys!

I did play Werbie. His record in class 5's isn't great but seeing how strong he was at the line LTO and the price tempted me in again. Incredibly, he looked even stronger at the line for his latest win....this improving 10yo can go in again! Grin

GL with those Werbie. I have a few bets lined up for Newcastle too and I'll throw them on here.
