The real great thing about this is that it was between the two of them for a long time that maximised the fun of it and the commentator did a really good job with it

Doubt it was intended to be funny stu, Dam and Dams sire both named after winds and sire Cracksman. Jafeica the best of the best, owned by a mate who explained the meaning on CH4 if memory serves.

Novice chase think it was late 60s or early 70s,Cocklecootycottage and Tetrahumptydumpty in the same race.

Mr Ed was quite funny at times.

That makes it more funny if unintended

Yes, even though haydens type of list shows some obv banned wordings, they can get around it with odd spellings at times...

Spunk winning at Kempton on Boxing Day, and one person asking Lydia if she liked Spunk in the Paddock.

Lester didn't ride the other Mary Hinge either (foaled after he retired).  The one we remember was ridden in all its runs (and five wins) by Paul Eddery.

That's the fella, tantpis.  Grey with long mane and tail.  Not sure where he died though.

Unfortunately in a 2 Horse race,but won a few races for me I think it was Catterick he liked the best,of course I was a lot younger then.
