I feel sorry for Ascot - they continually put on NH races with good prize money, but get poor fields. The Hirst Park Chase last month was another. What is it about the track that owners/trainers don't like?
Similar to the last time the race was run, just 12 runners, years gone by have seen fields of 16 - 20 generally, have they changes the terms and conditions?
