Saturday night, a program called The Last Leg on Ch 4 had a right couple of T0ssers on who found it hugely funny to be interviewing Katie Hopkins when a poster was up behind her with the letters C u n T in Capital letters.
Then these dopey young student types pulled a similar stunt on Suella Braverman who had been conned into launching a new boat in her local area, behind her was a poster "Dick of the year award", very petty and childish. The panel thought it was hugely funny, odd isn't it that people who are trying to stop Illegal immigration of mainly young men into our country are treated like this.
   Hope Ch 4 is inundated with complaints, disagree with someone about there politics by all means but to try to humiliate women in this childish manner is pathetic imo.

I believe The Last Leg is to be dropped. It's absolute shyte, and only lasted so long
because it ticks all the left boxes.

I think Ms Hopkin ought to get a weekly tv show replicating her podcast she did on Ms Mone and her PPE profiteering on MPs and their behaviour in Parliament and in public. It's like that puppet show, but in person.

I watched big Brother 1. I think it had nasty Nick and an Irish plasterer. None post this. Similarly, the jungle thing in Australia.

'sparrow', why? I think I'd too if faced with Lord Sugar - the sanctimonious git! But, I think it got his comeuppance buying Spurs and employed Venables as manager. I think the latter introduced him to "bungs" in player-transfer activities - a football golden handshake.

East London impossible. We were at a technical school called Joseph Priestly but were moved after two years to a newly opened comprehensive called Brooke House. In those days before school in the morning he had a job boiling beetroots but I don't remember him much at school to be honest.

Sounds like he has gone full-circle, still boiling vegetables but now he does it on TV.

He's done alright I know that much.

The man's done very well. He was very savvy buying up real estate and not piling his wealth into the dotcom companies pedalled by the City of London to greedy-get-rich "investors".

Is Lord Sugar really boiling veggies on tv? I very seldom watched terrestrial tv these days - only the News; Prime videos on Amazon do have some sh1tty films with 4th-rate "actors" who cannot act.

It was dambuster when it first opened in 1960 or 61. Should have said Joseph Priestley but forgot the e in Priestley

40years ago i was a postman at Brook rd sorting office, i stayed there for 18 months, it was the coldest winter for ages( early 80s).
then i got a job driving job at Clapton and Walthamstow  a right Cushie number ,Mon-Fri 7am-3pm Monday to Friday, i use to start at 7am and finish at 11am.
And got 9 hours overtime a week, and mine wasn't the cushiest .
a few times i'd finish at 11am on a Friday and be at Sandown or Kempton by 1.30 pm for the first race.
Then after that, it all came on top, so i got a job at RBS as a Messenger and worked my way up.
that was even cushier, sadly those jobs for life don't exist anymore.

Brook Road Stoke Newington as I recall although I left London more than 50 years ago. I used to have to accompany a manager of our company to that Post Office with his franking machine every week.
